M is for...................... Medusa

This week on the Alphabet challenge we have made it all the way to M..........so here is my M for Medusa card. The main picture is an embroidery that I designed and made several years ago. I then drew the cobra with a fine ink pen, just to finish the card off. Many thanks for looking.

Easel card

I've had these Easel card blanks for years, and never got around to doing anything with them! Last night a friend was playing with some that she had, which inspired me to dig mine out and have a go. Of course I cheated and printed out out of my landscape oil paintings that I did several years ago. edged it with distress ink and a peel off and hey presto.......job done!

And more..................

I have been painting my nails again.............(the weather's not good for haymaking you see!) And in answer to zoe............I manage with the farmwork and heavy horses, because my nails have acrylic on them! They are in fact very strong :)

K is for ...................

Kingfisher! This weeks letter on my Alphabet challenge blog is K. I have used a painting of a Kingfisher that I did some years ago, and then drew bulrushes in the background with a fine black pen. I drew the panel again with a fine black pen and drew a darker shadow round two sides to make it appear raised. The edge of the card was finished with a gold peeloff.

Playing again!

Have been sitting chilling out this evening, so I thought I'd have another play with my nails. Again I "painted" them by hand using nail varnish pens.
